Job summary

Greenmark Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an Environmental Control Officer to work on major building projects. You will work with the project team on environmental issues, monitor noise, pollution, air and water quality, and ensure compliance with regulations.

You will prepare reports, attend meetings, liaise with authorities, and uphold in-house rules, conducting inspections and advising on environmental controls.

Qualifications

• Must be ECO registered with NEA.
• Must be ECMO registered under IES.
• Degree or Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the building construction field.
• Environmental Control Officer capable of working under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team on environmental issues (noise monitoring, pollution, vector control, air and water pollution, drainage) and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Implement and monitor environmental control programs on site.
• Prepare, submit statutory reports, and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and be involved in environmental matters on site.
• Enforce environmental requirements and in-house rules/regulations.
• Attend site and client meetings and prepare weekly reports.
• Liaise with government authorities on safety and environment compliance matters.
