Job summary

China Road and Bridge Corporation is seeking an Environmental Specialist to monitor and ensure environmental compliance on the project site. The role involves inspections, reporting, waste management, and coordination with authorities to uphold the Environmental Management Plan.

The candidate should have a relevant degree, knowledge of Philippine regulations, and be willing to work on-site; Safety Officer credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Philippine environmental regulations.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willing to work on-site.
• Safety Officer experience or certification is a plus.
• Relevant OSH training/certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental compliance at the project site.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections.
• Prepare environmental reports and maintain records.
• Monitor proper waste segregation, handling, and disposal.
• Assist with environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
• Identify environmental risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with government agencies and project personnel on environmental matters.
• Assist in implementing the Environmental Management Plan.
