Job summary

Global Quest Consulting Group in Makati is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to oversee the Engineering Department on-site. The role requires a 5–10 year track record in HVAC, equipment maintenance, and warranty management, with a strong focus on after-sales service and contracts.

You will build client relationships, forecast parts, negotiate service agreements, and lead the engineering team through installation and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering; Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in HVAC, general equipment maintenance, and warranty management.
• Knowledgeable in kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and air-conditioning systems.
• Experience in after-sales service, parts sales, contract negotiation, inventory forecasting, and accounts receivable management.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations of the Engineering Department.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate all after-sales service activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Prepare parts sales forecasts and monitor inventory requirements.
• Negotiate service agreements and contracts.
• Review project costing and pricing to maximize profitability and secure bids.
• Manage the department's credit and collection activities.
• Recruit, lead, and develop the engineering team.
• Coordinate with customers during equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Provide updates to management on escalated service concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support strategic planning, forecasting, and operational reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
