Job summary

Camascope India, part of the PCS Group, is hiring an Engineering Manager to build and lead a new India engineering team delivering PCS products. You will contribute hands-on for ~50% of your time while establishing team practices, hiring, and delivery rhythms.

As the team grows, you will shift toward leadership, coaching, and cross-team coordination with the UK product engineering teams. A strong C#/.NET background and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record in leading teams
• Strong portfolio of C#/.NET applications and cloud platforms
• Experience building and leading teams from the ground up; hiring and delivery practices
• Excellent communication across distributed/international teams
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and coaching teams
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)

Responsibilities

• Hire, build and lead an engineering team of 6 in India; grow to a second team
• Contribute hands-on to design, engineering and delivery; ~50% coding time initially
• Own day-to-day team operations: sprint delivery, 1:1s, performance management
• Collaborate with UK product engineering to align on scope and direction
• Promote DevSecOps and CI/CD practices across the team
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure coherence with PCS engineering standards
• Identify blockers and optimize processes; manage technical debt
• Oversee full SDLC from design to production and monitoring
• Mentor engineers and foster a learning culture
• Coordinate with Product, QA and Design to achieve product outcomes
