Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer C# to lead multiple development teams in designing and building scalable platforms and frameworks. The role blends hands-on coding with strategic architecture, mentoring, and cross- domain collaboration across cloud-native environments.

The ideal candidate combines deep .NET/C# expertise with modern cloud-native practices, strong leadership, and a passion for elevating engineering quality and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in .NET Core and C#, with hands-on cloud experience.
• Expert in design patterns and cloud-native strategies (DDD, microservices, event-driven).
• Able to lead architecture across multiple projects and guide teams in execution.
• Proficient in API integration and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with product owner to balance functional and technical work.
• Support enterprise architecture in maintaining a technical roadmap and alignment.
• Communicate leadership priorities and technical guidance to all teams.
• Facilitate cross-team communication and collaboration across domains.
• Lead operational monitoring and deliver improvements.
• Ensure prompt resolution of production issues.
• Participate in interviews to assess technical skills and fit.
• Identify and facilitate developer trainings; promote innovation and empowerment.
• Support performance evaluations and improvement activities.
• Serve as the point of contact for teams as needed.
• Provide high-level estimates for features and propose optimized solutions.
