Job summary

Camascope India, part of Person Centred Software (PCS) Group, is hiring a founding engineer to shape a new India-based team working with UK Product Engineering to design, build and operate a core PCS product.

You will be the senior-most individual contributor, setting standards, mentoring engineers, and taking ownership from concept to production—driving architecture decisions and best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building modern web applications across backend and frontend technologies.
• A passion for clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable system design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain applications using C# and .NET across backend and frontend.
• Lead delivery of complex features and technical projects.
• Establish coding standards and testing culture for the new team.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to deliver well-tested solutions.
• Write robust automated tests and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers as the team scales from 6 upward.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
• Drive improvements in scalability, performance, and security.
