Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, CS, or equivalent experience.
Microsoft Azure certification(s) such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate.
8+ years of professional software engineering experience with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Architect and build cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, from the data layer and APIs through to the front end.
Own solution architecture decisions and document trade-offs behind them for engineering and business stakeholders.
Build and maintain the internal developer platform and delivery pipelines, including Backstage, GitHub Actions and Terraform.
Set and enforce engineering standards through code review, pairing and test-driven and domain-driven design practice.
Mentor engineers and lead the adoption of AI-assisted development tooling such as GitHub Copilot.
