Job summary

METRO NORTH MEDICAL CENTER AND HOSPITAL, INC. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in Manila area, schedule and oversee critical repair work, and ensure safe operation of hospital facilities.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with a PE license and 1–3 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Professional License in Electrical/Electronic engineering is required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes, schedules, assigns, directs, supervises and evaluates maintenance staff.
• Supervises completion of scheduled and unscheduled work orders and emergency calls.
• Operates and supervises maintenance of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment including generators and gas/oxygen systems.
• Makes recommendations for hiring, performance reviews and discipline.
• Conducts training and safety sessions for shop staff.
• Reads blueprints and diagrams to define work scope, tools and materials.
• Prepares status reports on operations and preventive maintenance.
• Assists with department-wide projects and responsibilities.
• Makes drawings to identify work requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prioritizes, schedules, assigns, directs, supervises and evaluates the work of maintenance personnel.
• Supervises and participates in the completion of both scheduled and unscheduled work orders and emergency service calls.
• Operates and supervises the repair, maintenance and use of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment, including electric generators, high and medical gas/oxygen compressors and pumps.
• Makes effective recommendations for personnel actions, including hiring, performance evaluations and discipline.
• Conducts training and safety sessions with shop staff.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, engineering diagrams, sketches and plans necessary to identify and define work assignments, standards, tools, materials, and equipment.
• Prepares reports or summaries on the status of operations, maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
• Assists with department-wide projects or responsibilities.
• Makes drawings necessary to identify and define work assignments, standards, tools, materials and equipment needed.
• Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) is required.

Work Experience:

• With at least 1-3 years of working experience and supervisory skills in the related field is a must
