FDC Misamis Power Corporation is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency of the plant. The Electrical Supervisor checks the quality of maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical systems and equipment to ensure the plant operates efficiently and safely. He manages a team of electricians, work closely with other departments, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular toolbox meeting with HVAC, electrical technicians
Work closely with mechanical, operations, and instrumentation teams to ensure that all plant systems function cohesively.
Conduct or attend regular safety meetings.
Lead the Electrical Team and delegate work assignments related to electrical systems to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
Provide technical guidance and ensure all work is done in compliance with electrical codes and standards.
Develop annual goals and action plans to fully support organizational goals, plans, and strategies. Secure the commitment of direct reports and working teams in the achievement of organizational targets, goals and plans.
Manage the team performance through motivation, coaching and mentoring and evaluate the performance regularly.
Oversee the inspection, testing and maintenance of electric equipment.
Join in the troubleshooting of critical equipment to ensure quick repair of electrical issues to minimize power generation disruptions.
Monitor the occurrence of electric equipment failures and analyze the root cause to recommend a solution.
Manage electrical projects, contracted services, upgrades, and improvements in the plant.
Ensure that projects and services are completed on time, within budget and meet all quality and safety standards.
Prepare reports and root cause analysis of major electrical incidents.
Create and review maintenance procedures for electrical activities.
Suggest development plan, training needs analysis of direct reports and submit them to Electrical Superintendent.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering and power generation technologies.
