Qualifications

• Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree preferred.
• Proven experience as Utilities/Maintenance Supervisor or similar.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
• Strong knowledge in Maintenance and Reliability.

Responsibilities

• Delegate maintenance issues and small projects by shift.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.

Job Description:

• Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works.

• Prepares weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work. Ensures full preventive maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead direct reports to deliver effectively.

• Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime.

• Manages a team of Operator and Technicians to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management.

• Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems.

• People Management

• Provide backup support to other groups in the organization

• Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Relevant manufacturing / Engineering Degree is preferred

Experience

• Proven experience as Utilities / Maintenance Supervisor or similar role
