Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is hiring an Engineer - Mechanical Package in Manila to join our engineering team. The role focuses on scheduling, cost reporting, and change management in alignment with approved systems and procedures.

You will manage package activities to meet project cost and schedule targets, coordinate reviews, and ensure seamless interfaces across disciplines. The position requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 3 years of post-graduate experience, with strong

Responsibilities

• Schedule and cost reporting for mechanical package.
• Post-award change management and risk assessment.
• Coordinate technical reviews, vendor documentation, and design interfaces.
• Monitor progress against milestones and forecast package costs.
• Manage vendor performance from award through fabrication, inspection, delivery and close-out.
• Ensure change management procedures are followed and assess scope changes impacts.
• Provide accurate package status reporting and maintain documentation.

Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Engineer - Mechanical Package to join our growing Engineering team in Manila.

The Engineer - Mechanical Package is responsible for the scheduling and cost reporting, post-award change management, risk and technical compliance in alignment with Company approved systems and procedures.

The tasks you'll perform

• Ensure package activities comply with project, client, statutory, and quality requirements.
• Manage assigned package(s) in accordance with approved cost and schedule targets.
• Monitor progress against key milestones and proactively address deviations.
• Support forecasting of package costs, commitments, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate technical reviews, vendor documentation, and design interfaces.
• Facilitate timely resolution of technical queries and design issues.
• Manage vendor performance from award through manufacture, inspection, delivery, and close-out.
• Monitor fabrication progress and expediting requirements.
• Coordinate disciplines to ensure deliverables are aligned and integrated.
• Ensure change management procedures are followed.
• Assess impacts of scope changes on cost, schedule, and risk.
• Maintain accurate package records and supporting documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely package status reporting.
• Maintain package registers, action lists, risk registers, and procurement trackers.
• Escalate emerging issues, risks, and opportunities promptly.
