Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join our Manila engineering team. You will work under the Lead Mechanical Engineer and General Manager to deliver accurate, compliant design deliverables using Company approved systems.

The role requires 3+ years post-graduate experience, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and colleagues across disciplines. Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
• 3+ years of post-graduate experience.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with clients, vendors and co-workers.
• Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate engineering design and calculations and interdisciplinary coordination of technical aspects of the design.
• Produce accurate engineering lists including equipment, lubrication, spares, valves, pipe line and special items.
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritise to deliver high-quality results.
• Develop technical documentation including scopes of work and specifications using industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project design criteria and deliverables.
• Stay updated with current industry codes, standards and engineering developments.
• Travel on an ad-hoc basis to suit business needs.

Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Manila.

Reporting to the Lead Mechanical Engineer and General Manager, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures.

The tasks you'll perform

• Perform accurate engineering design and calculations and interdisciplinary co-ordination of technical aspects of the design.
• Produce accurate engineering lists including but not limited to: equipment, lubrication, spares, valves, pipe line and special items.
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritise where necessary to achieve agreed deliverables to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Develop technical documentation including scopes of work and specifications using relevant industry standards and guidelines.
• Work in conjunction with a range of internal and external stakeholders to meet project design criteria and deliverables.
• Maintain an understanding of the latest developments to Industry and Project specific codes, standards and related engineering matters.
• Travel on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and its operations.
