Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• 8+ years experience in Minerals Processing or related industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid technical aptitude with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards applying to mechanical design.

Responsibilities

• Maximise productivity and efficiency of the discipline by planning and allocating resources to meet deliverables.
• Maintain output quality to a high level of accuracy.

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Technical Consultant - Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Manila.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Consultant - Mechanical Engineer will provide technical expertise or coordinate expertise from external sources to effectively complete the project requirements.

The tasks you'll perform

• Maximise the productivity and efficiency of the appointed discipline by planning, scheduling and the appropriate allocation of resources to ensure deliverables are met.
• Maintain the quality of output produced from the appointed discipline team to ensure deliverables are met to high-level of accuracy.
• Contribute to employees’ professional development by providing consistent mentoring and identify avenues of development.
• Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives which support business priorities for continuous improvement.

The expertise you'll bring

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
• +8years experience in Minerals Processing or related industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Standards applying to mechanical design.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, particularly in mineral processing plants.
