Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Engineer I, Technical Support Quote and Order Management to provide technical support to sales offices, partners, and administrators across the MEA region. You will handle general inquiries, prepare proposals, review orders technically and commercially, and administer orders in the system.

Responsibilities include timely responses to inquiries, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate order bookings.

• Manage order bookings by validating data sheets, pricing, lead time, and configurations.
• Resolve order issues and escalate as needed.

If you are an Engineer I, Technical Support Quote and Order Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this gives you the chance to provide technical support to sales offices, local business partners, and business administrators across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. In this role, you will beanswering general technical inquiries and escalations, preparing technical proposals, technically and commercially reviewing orders, and administering orders into the system.You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise invarious functions, such as providing product specification information to customers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Provide timely responses to general customer inquiries and effectively manage and fulfill customer orders to generate clean invoices for efficient accounts receivable handling.
• Review and answer technical inquiries from customers related to products and processes.
• Provide customer proposals, which involve the review of technical and commercial requirements, model number validation and creation, handling of buy-outs, managing pricing, lead time, and sizing related activities.
• Coordinate with internal workgroups for escalations and address technical clarifications related to the proposal.
• Manage order bookings by reviewing requirements and data sheets, validating model numbers, handling buy-outs, and coordinating pricing, lead-time, sizing, and configuration activities.
• Resolve order issues and raise them to internal workgroups as needed.
