Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Engineer I, Technical Support Quote and Order Management in the Philippines to empower MEA sales offices and partners. You will handle general technical inquiries, prepare proposals, review orders, and administer orders in the system while developing product specification knowledge for customers.

Fresh graduates are welcome; the role is a 12-month fixed-term employment. You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate invoicing and order

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related courses.
• Proficiency in English communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must be amenable to a 12-month fixed-term employment arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to general customer inquiries and effectively manage and fulfill customer orders to generate clean invoices for efficient accounts receivable handling.
• Review and answer technical inquiries from customers related to products and processes.
• Provide customer proposals, which involve the review of technical and commercial requirements, model number validation and creation, handling of buy-outs, managing pricing, lead time, and sizing related activities.
• Coordinate with internal workgroups for escalations and address technical clarifications related to the proposal.
• Manage order bookings by reviewing requirements and data sheets, validating model numbers, handling buy-outs, and coordinating pricing, lead-time, sizing, and configuration activities.
• Resolve order issues and raise them to internal workgroups as needed.

If you are an Engineer I, Technical Support Quote and Order Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this gives you the chance to provide technical support to sales offices, local business partners, and business administrators across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. In this role, you will be answering general technical inquiries and escalations, preparing technical proposals, technically and commercially reviewing orders, and administering orders into the system.
