Job summary

GBSS is seeking a results-driven Loan Support Officer to own Australian mortgage files end-to-end, from pre-lodgement to settlement. You’ll verify documents, run serviceability calculations, and coordinate with lenders to keep deals moving.

You’ll work in a collaborative, performance‑driven environment that values accuracy, client focus, and proactive problem solving, with opportunities to grow within GBSS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Lending, Home Finance, or Mortgage Assessment.
• Hands-on Australian loan processing experience with non-bank lenders exposure preferred.
• Experience with income/expense verification and serviceability calculations.
• Proficiency with ApplyOnline, LoanApp and AU CRM/aggregator platforms.
• Strong knowledge of lender credit policies and policy packaging.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Drive loan files across platforms from lodgement to settlement.
• Perform initial document checks and ensure BID compliance.
• Coordinate servicing calculations and assess lender policy fit.
• Liaise with clients and lenders to clear MIRs quickly.
• Monitor pipeline and proactively remove bottlenecks.
