Job summary

FBC Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processing Officer to support an offshore mortgage broking operation for Australian clients.

You will manage the end-to-end mortgage lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient coordination across brokers, lenders, and clients. This role suits candidates with hands-on Australian mortgage processing experience who thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in mortgage loan processing (Australian market experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AFG Flex is required, with BrokerEngine experience considered a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of Australian mortgage products, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end mortgage application processing from submission to settlement.
• Collect, verify, and validate supporting documentation in line with lender requirements.
• Liaise with brokers, lenders, and clients to obtain outstanding requirements and updates.
• Prepare and submit loan applications using AFG Flex or BrokerEngine.
• Monitor application progress and follow up on outstanding conditions.
• Maintain accurate updates in CRM and workflow management systems.
• Ensure compliance with Australian lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support post-submission processing and settlement coordination.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and turnaround times.
