Job summary

TaxValet is seeking a Billing Operations Specialist to own end-to-end billing for our clients, including setup, invoicing, refunds, and revenue processes within Zoho Billing. This role consolidates billing tasks across multiple owners into a single, efficient function.

You will build and continuously improve systems to ensure accurate, timely billing, manage client interactions, and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience with Zoho Billing or similar platforms.
• Experience in invoicing, subscription management, or revenue operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• You can manage multiple billing tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and redesign billing workflows and systems as this function scales.
• Client onboarding and billing account setup with Zoho Billing.
• Billing management, client invoicing, credits, refunds, and adjustments.
• Client payment management, updating payment records and bank details.
• Billing review and reconciliation across records and internal systems.
• Manage subscription and pricing updates from changes and discounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing concerns and audits.
• Maintain referral source information and partner commissions.
