Job Description
Employee Relations Officer provides administrative and operational support in handling employee relations matters, including complaints, misconduct cases, and dispute resolution, in compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines. The role supports documentation, administrative hearings, policy implementation, and employee relations initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle employee complaints, misconduct cases, and conflict resolution
- Support administrative case hearings and case conferences (e.g., SENA-DOLE)
- Receive, process, and document incident reports and employee relations cases
- Assist in drafting ER documents such as NTE, NOR, RTWO, and related memoranda
- Maintain and archive employee relations records and case files
- Support implementation and monitoring of HR policies, rules, and regulations
- Promote employee awareness and compliance with company policies and code of conduct
- Perform clerical tasks such as checking employee clearances, encoding exit interviews, and verifying administrative cases for loan applications
- Coordinate with HR Officers, management, and other internal stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of labor relations and employment standards is an advantage
- Computer literate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision
- Collaborative, flexible, and willing to render support during critical periods or outside regular office hours
