Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. seeks a seasoned Employee Engagement & Internal Communications lead to drive programs that boost employee experience and strengthen workplace culture.

You will manage engagement activities, events, and culture-building campaigns while partnering with stakeholders to align with business goals and organizational values. The role requires at least six years in HR or related fields, with onsite work in Ortigas and a focus on inclusive, compliant programs that elevate performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or Public Relations.
• Six or more years of work experience in HR or related field.
• Willingness to work onsite and be assigned to Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Employee Engagement Team.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive calendar of employee events, including celebrations, team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful execution of events.
• Communicate event details effectively across the organization through emails, intranet, and other channels.
• Manage budgets related to employee activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
• Gather feedback post-events to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Partner with HR and leadership to align events with company culture, values, and strategic goals.
• Promote an inclusive and engaging environment by planning diverse activities that cater to varied employee interests.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to continually enhance employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to event planning and employee engagement activities.
• Continuously improves and updates guidelines and processes of all Employee Engagement and Communication projects and activities.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the employee engagement team members to deliver high-quality programs and initiatives.
