Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking a seasoned leader to head Employee Engagement and internal communication initiatives in Mandaluyong.

The role will drive programs that enhance employee experience, strengthen workplace culture, and foster a connected, high-performing workforce. You will oversee engagement activities, company events, and culture-building campaigns while partnering with stakeholders to align with business goals and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/IR/Business or related field.
• At least six (6) years of work-related experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisor experience in HR or related area.
• Willing to work onsite and be assigned to Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Employee Engagement Team.
• Develop and implement a calendar of employee events, including celebrations, team-building activities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful execution of events.
• Communicate event details effectively across the organization through emails, intranet, and other channels.
• Manage budgets related to employee activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
• Gather feedback post-events to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Partner with HR and leadership to align events with company culture, values, and strategic goals.
• Promote an inclusive and engaging environment by planning diverse activities that cater to varied employee interests.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to continually enhance employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to event planning and employee engagement activities.
• Continuously improve and update guidelines and processes of all Employee Engagement and Communication projects and activities.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the employee engagement team members to deliver high-quality programs and initiatives.
• Perform other related functions and projects that may be assigned at any point in time.
