Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Payments lifecycle specialist to investigate and resolve wire transfer inquiries and support day-to-day processing. You will follow documented procedures and collaborate with partners to deliver timely, accurate outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience in international payment processing operations, including wire transfers and/or investigations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for documenting cases and providing stakeholder updates.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and controls with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritize work, take ownership, and escalates appropriately.
• Proficiency with common productivity tools and comfort working across multiple systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process investigations and transactions in accordance with documented procedures, controls, and service level expectations.
• Investigate and resolve wire transfer inquiries by reviewing payment details, research results, and related documentation.
• Process manual instructions for funds and wire transfers across global currencies, as applicable to the role.
• Analyze case and payment information to validate data accuracy, completeness, and required approvals.
• Review and submit manual entries needed to resolve funds transfer inquiries, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
• Provide clear updates to clients or client service partners on inquiry status, next steps, and outcomes.
• Identify exceptions, risks, or control gaps, and escalate issues in a timely manner through the appropriate channels.
• Support cross-training by sharing procedures and coaching teammates on assigned processes.
• Perform backup production tasks and contribute ideas to improve workflow efficiency, quality, and controls.
• Rotate across team functions as needed to maintain operational coverage and meet daily priorities.
