Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an experienced Debt Collector to join its Credit and Collections team in the Philippines. You will follow up with clients via calls and emails to collect overdue invoices and enforce payment policies.

The role emphasizes resolving delinquent accounts, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with order management, customer service, and sales to resolve inquiries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in B2B collections.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service focus.
• Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of SAP/Salesforce/HighRadius a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with clients via calls and emails for overdue payments.
• Enforce policies related to payment, cancellation, and service suspension.
• Own customer disputes through to resolution.
• Ensure activities align with internal controls and published processes.
• Perform sales ledger reconciliations as required.
• Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries.
• Escalate debt issues to account manager and line manager.
• Collaborate with order management, customer service, and sales to resolve queries.
• Maintain customer contact information.
• Provide refunds and guidance on payment forms and tax forms.
• Note and report customer status in reviews and meetings.
