Job summary

S&P Global seeks a Specialist, Collection (EMEA) based in the Philippines. The role focuses on following up with clients for overdue payments, enforcing payment policies, and resolving disputes to improve cash flow.

You will work with order management, customer service, and sales teams in a hybrid setup, with Bridgetowne, Quezon City as a primary location. We value 5+ years in B2B collections, strong English skills, problem solving, and a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in B2B collections environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Excellent problem solving skill.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail, goal oriented.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up with clients for payments of overdue invoices via calls and emails.
• Enforce policies related to payment, cancellation, and suspension/termination of services.
• Own customer disputes through to resolution.
• Ensure activities align with internal controls and processes.
• Perform sales ledger account reconciliations as required.
• Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries.
• Escalate debt issues to account manager and line manager.
• Collaborate with order management, customer service, cash applications and sales management to resolve queries.
• Provide information on refunds, payment forms, discrepancies, and tax forms.
• Document customer status through reviews, notes, and meetings.
• Maintain customer contact information and perform related tasks.
• Assist in knowledge sharing within the global Credit and Collections team.
