Job summary

International Elevator and Equipment, Inc. is seeking a service engineer to prepare and submit service contract proposals to the owner's representative, and to estimate labor and material costs for elevator and escalator improvements.

The role requires on-site inspections, discussions with owners on recommendations, follow-up on service-fee adjustments, monitoring spare parts inventory, and performing other service-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably licensed.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino (written and oral).
• Can relate effectively to all types of people and demonstrate strong leadership ability.
• Must be computer literate and possess good moral character.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit service contract proposals to the owner's representative.
• Prepare cost estimates for labor and materials for elevator/escalator improvements.
• Discuss proposals with the owner and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Follow up on requests for adjustments in service fees.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess condition and performance and provide recommendations.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate ordering as needed.
• Act on owner recommendations to improve operation/servicing.
• Perform other service-related tasks as assigned by superiors.
