Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Engineer.
• SO3 with at least two years of experience in OSH.
• Versatile in MS Office, Leadership and Organizational Skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the plant manager's principal assistant and consultant in the application of programs to remove environmental, health and safety hazards in the workplace.
• Conducts investigation of accidents/incidents as member of the Plant EHS Committee and submits reports to the EHS Manager for review prior to release to the Plant Manager.
• Conducts and organizes EHS seminars, training, orientation and refresher course at the plant level in coordination with the EHS Manager.
• Ensures customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood and consistently met.
• Ensures applicable governmental legal requirements (PD 1586, RA 6969, RA 9003, RA 9275, RA 11058 and IRRs) are complied.
• Ensures proper performance, operation and maintenance of environmental management facilities or systems (waste water treatment, air pollution control devices, material recovery, storage facilities).

• Conducts investigation of accidents/incidents as member of the Plant EHS Committee and submit his report to the EHS Manager for review prior to release to the Plant Manager.

• Conducts and organizes EHS seminar, training, orientation and refresher course at the plant level in coordination with the EHS Manager.

• Ensure customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood and consistently met.

• Ensure applicable governmental legal requirements of PD 1586, RA 6969, RA 9003, RA 9275, RA 11058 their respective implementing rules and regulations (IRRs), and other pertinent rules and regulations are complied.

• Ensure the proper performance, operation and maintenance of environmental management facilities or systems of the environment such as, waste water treatment facility, air pollution control devices, material recovery, hazardous and non-hazardous storage facilities.
