Job summary

Pacific Synergy Food and Beverage Corporation is seeking a safety and environmental professional to assist in implementing programs and conducting inspections at our Calamba, Laguna facilities.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and 1–2 years of experience in environmental management or occupational safety, preferably in manufacturing. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, and on-site work in Calamba is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in environmental management, pollution control, occupational safety and health, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations.
• Good communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work on-site in Calamba, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing environmental, pollution control, and occupational safety programs.
• Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections of production areas, equipment, and facilities.
• Help identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in monitoring waste management, wastewater, air emissions, and other environmental compliance activities.
• Support compliance with DENR, LLDA, local environmental regulations, and occupational safety standards.
• Assist in conducting employee orientations and training on workplace safety, PPE, emergency procedures, and hazard awareness.
• Assist in investigating workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare necessary reports.
• Maintain safety and environmental records, reports, permits, training documentation, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Monitor environmental and safety performance and assist in preparing reports for management.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams regarding safety and environmental concerns.
• Assist in safety committee meetings, emergency drills, inspections, and other safety-related activities.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and compliance documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
