Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation, a subsidiary of Jollibee Foods Corporation, is hiring an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer to drive EHS programs at the Canlubang, Laguna plant. The role focuses on implementing EMS, regulatory reporting, and emergency preparedness.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in EHS, and SO accreditation; PCO certification or a licensed engineer/chemist is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Five+ years of work experience in environment, health and safety.
• SO accreditation is required.
• PCO certification and/or licensed engineer/chemist is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective implementation of Environmental and Safety Management System and procedures.
• Facilitates submission of legal reports and renewal of permits for operations.
• Develops and tests emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Identifies process and system improvements to enhance plant operations.
• Conducts site assessments and compliance audits at the commissary facility.
• Institutes EHS training and awareness activities.

Title: Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer

The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer is responsible for providing plans and direction to the organization in terms of Environment, Health and Safety and improve the environmental and safety performance of the plant.

• Ensures the effective implementation of Environmental and Safety Management System and procedures.
• Facilitates the submission of legal reports and renewal of all permits applicable to the operation of the company.
• Develops, implements, and regularly tests emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Identifies and recommends process and system improvements to enhance plant operations.
• Conducts site assessments and compliance audits within the commissary facility.
• Institute EHS Training system and personnel awareness activities.
• Bachelor's degree holder preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• At least five (5) years of work experience in the field of environment, health, and safety or similar equivalent roles
• Must have Safety Officer (SO) Accreditation
• Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and/or Licensed Engineer or Chemist is a plus
• Candidate must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna
