1. Safety and Health Compliance
- Implement and monitor compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (DOLE OSHS).
- Conduct regular inspections of all sites to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure the company maintains the required number of certified Safety Officers and trained emergency responders.
- Lead or support safety drills and emergency response training.
- Maintain and regularly update the company’s Safety Manual and incident logs.
2. Environmental Compliance and Pollution Control
- Ensure compliance with DENR, LGU, and other regulatory agencies on environmental standards (e.g., wastewater, emissions, solid waste segregation, chemical handling).
- Coordinate permitting and renewal of ECC, PTO, and other environmental permits.
- Monitor waste disposal contractors and ensure proper documentation (e.g., waste manifests).
- Oversee pollution control measures, especially in garages and warehouse operations.
3. Building and Facilities Maintenance
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, utilities, and critical systems (e.g., water, power, HVAC, fire safety equipment, CCTV).
- Coordinate repairs and renovations across all sites.
- Manage contractors, vendors, and suppliers for facility-related services.
- Maintain a master list of facility assets, maintenance schedules, and compliance certificates.
4. Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain all necessary permits, licenses, certifications, and inspection records related to safety, environment, and facilities.
- Prepare reports for internal audit and compliance purposes.
- Participate in ISO 9001 and other QMS audits related to facility and safety compliance.
5. Coordination and Reporting
- Serve as the central point of contact for all facility, safety, and environmental matters.
- Coordinate with Branch Heads and Transport Managers to implement site-specific compliance strategies.
- Report monthly KPIs and compliance updates to management.
Qualifications
- Licensed Engineer is an advantage (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities management, safety, or environmental compliance, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or transport operations.
- Certified Safety Officer (SO2 or higher) under DOLE-OSHC; PCO (Pollution Control Officer) certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with DENR, DOLE, and LGU regulatory requirements.
- Willing to travel occasionally to branch sites.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; tech-savvy and capable of using reporting tools and maintenance tracking software.
