Job summary

Remotee, through our sister company Recruit Sync, is seeking an experienced Recruitment Resourcer to support a boutique Australian recruitment agency specialising in early childhood and education sector recruitment.

You’ll own candidate engagement and care, sourcing, pre-qualifying and booking candidates for interview, managing inbound applicants and re-engaging the existing database to keep the client front of mind.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in recruitment/resourcing or candidate engagement roles.
• Experience recruiting in education sector, early childhood preferred (AU/UK/US experience valued).
• Familiarity with JobAdder or comparable ATS/CRM; proficiency within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Contact candidates via text, email and phone to engage appropriate times.
• Follow up persistently until a response is received.
• Engage passive candidates with role information and market insights.
• Redirect unsuitable candidates to casual/temp opportunities when relevant.
• Respond promptly to candidate engagement alerts, registrations and mailer clicks.
• Screen inbound applications and assess fit for current vacancies.
• Notify all applicants with responses to preserve candidate experience.
• Direct unsuitable applicants to relevant pathways.
• Pre-qualify candidates against active role briefs (availability, location, expectations).
• Book qualified candidates into interviews with Founder/CEO or team.
• Progressively attend and conduct candidate interviews as familiarity grows.
• Record qualification notes in ATS/CRM after each conversation.
• Maintain regular contact with existing database candidates to keep relationships warm.
• Ensure candidate records are accurately coded with skills, qualifications, compliance docs and availability.
• Collaborate with the database administrator to correct mis-coded records.
• Deploy regular candidate mailers and follow up with engaged candidates.
• Provide end-of-day activity summaries to the Founder/CEO.
• Coordinate with BD and recruitment team on active roles to align outreach priorities.
• Flag system improvements or market observations for the team.
