We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant who enjoys building client relationships, generating business opportunities, and sourcing technology professionals.

This role combines approximately 60% proactive business development and 40% candidate resourcing. You'll work closely with a Melbourne-based recruitment and sales team, supporting contract, permanent, and fixed-term hiring.

What you'll do

• Drive outbound business development through phone calls, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted emails.
• Identify prospective clients and generate qualified meetings for the Melbourne consulting team.
• Research target companies, decision-makers, technology projects, and potential hiring needs.
• Build prospect lists, nurture leads, and maintain consistent follow-ups.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal databases, and other recruitment channels.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, business development, or agency recruitment.
• Experience across Technology, Digital, Transformation, or Project Delivery is preferred.
• Australian recruitment market experience is preferred; relevant international experience will also be considered.
• Confidence in conducting outbound business development calls and engaging senior professionals.
• Strong sourcing, research, candidate screening, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches, prospecting activities, and follow-ups.
