Job summary

Newly Weds Foods (Philippines) is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing maintenance. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.

You will lead preventive maintenance activities, plan and schedule repairs, monitor spare parts, and maintain accurate maintenance records. Willingness to work on shifting schedules and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, motor control circuits and grounding systems.
• Hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Experience in repairing pumps, gearboxes, valves, piping systems and rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols (LOTO, Electrical Safety, etc.).
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, holidays and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance work complies with applicable standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, utilities and facilities condition.
• Lead the preventive maintenance of Electrical System.
• Analyze, plan and schedule Repair and Maintenance Request (RMR) based on priority and criticality.
• Monitor and control inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist the immediate superior on creating and monitoring the detailed maintenance plans (daily, weekly, monthly shutdown schedules).
