RAM Food Products Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to execute daily preventive maintenance and perform technical troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment.
You will support uninterrupted production by minimizing downtime and ensuring plant safety. You will diagnose root causes, prepare maintenance reports, and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations of utilities and machines.
Responsible for executing daily preventive maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and continuous repairs of both mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment and factory utilities to minimize machine downtime, ensure plant safety, and support uninterrupted production operations.
Perform direct technical troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems (conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics) and electrical systems (motor controls, relays, magnetic contactors, and sensors).
Execute the comprehensive preventive maintenance program to preclude unnecessary breakdowns, unscheduled repairs, and/or replacement of machine parts.
Implement security and safety procedures including but not limited to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols during maintenance, Fire Alarm and Detection System maintenance, emergency preparedness programs, earthquake drills, and fire drills.
Responsible for diagnosing root causes and submitting accurate technical maintenance reports requiring repair and/or replacement due to machine breakdown.
Provide immediate technical and breakdown support to all manufacturing departments to hit production line targets.
Assist and guide external contractors for the major repair, overhaul, and/or installation of manufacturing machines and utility equipment (e.g., air compressors, boiler, genset).
Registered Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer OR Graduate of relevant Vocational Technical courses (e.g., TESDA Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical Installation & Maintenance).
Experience in food manufacturing set-up is an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and must be willing to undergo intensive cross-training.
Knowledge in preventive maintenance management, machine lubrication, and equipment calibration.
Knowledge in electrical controls, technical schematics reading, and basic PLC troubleshooting is an advantage.
Willingness to be trained and work flexibly in a multi-skilled engineering setup (both mechanical and electrical maintenance).
Strong verbal and written communication skills for delivering shifting reports.
