Job summary

SM Retail is seeking a strategic Lead – E-commerce to steer the online business and develop strategies that grow sales, customer acquisition, and profitability.

You will collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing and Operations to optimize product assortment, pricing and campaigns, monitor key metrics, and deliver actionable insights to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in e-commerce, digital sales, marketplace management, or online retail.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online sales tactics.
• Analytical and commercial acumen with knowledge of GMV, conversion, AOV, traffic, ROAS.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Drive online sales through promotions, flash sales, vouchers, bundles, free shipping, and seasonal campaigns.
• Manage and optimize the company’s e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces, and digital sales channels.
• Monitor sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, and campaign performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with Merchandising, Marketing and Operations teams to optimize product assortment, pricing, promotions, inventory, and customer experience.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends and recommend tactical actions to improve online performance.
• Prepare performance reports and provide actionable recommendations to management.
