Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search seeks a commodity insurance broker to join their team in Dubai. The role focuses on establishing a book of business within commodity trade insurance and managing relationships across MENA, Pan-Africa and Asia.

The candidate will assist with existing and new contracts, participate in negotiations, and handle claims and risk management discussions. Dubai-based with potential UAE remote options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a legal, insurance or risk management focused role within a commodity trading house or freight and shipping.
• Demonstrate an understanding on current products (marine, shipping, commodity insurance)
• Open to a background in Commodity Trade and Risk Management (CTRM) software sales or within an operations role looking to move to a broker role
• Fluency in English is mandatory, other languages are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Establish a book of business within commodity trade insurance
• Maintaining high standards of existing relationships across MENA, Pan-Africa and Asia across the current services offered (marine, shipping and commodity insurance)
• Assist with existing and new insurance contracts – actively participating in the discussions and negotiations
• Handle claims, including client risk management and insurance coverage issues
• Role reports to Managing Director
