Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search seeks experienced commodity sales professionals to join a London-based team delivering OTC hedging solutions to corporate and industrial clients across Europe. The role involves originating new business, managing existing client flow, and reporting to the Head of European Sales.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in commodities sales or commercial support in energy, fluent English and another EU language, and a willingness to relocate to London.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commodities experience in a sales or commercial support role within a bank, trading house, or utility in the energy space.
• Strong written and spoken English and at least one additional EU language (Spanish, German, French, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Danish, etc.).
• Fundamental understanding of commodity derivatives and financial products.
• Self‑starter with a willingness to build and develop a portfolio of clients.
• Must be located in London or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Offer OTC hedging solutions (some physical) to corporate and industrial clients across Europe, managing existing client flow while originating new business.
• Provide client research, development and marketing support to colleagues and counterparts within the energy business.
• Obtain orders, quote and execute deals with energy clients, ensuring compliance with approved risk parameters.
• Ensure all deals are accurately booked into the system and recapped to clients.
• Participate in the preparation of daily energy market commentary, weekly emissions commentary, monthly gas summary, and ad‑hoc energy market comments.
• Report directly to the Head of European Sales.
