Dijitally is seeking an organized, detail-focused Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day finances of two growing Australian businesses. You’ll manage AP/AR, keep records accurate and ensure timely payments while collaborating closely with the Financial Controller.

This remote role requires strong Xero skills, experience with Australian GST, and the ability to work across two entities, overlapping Australian business hours from Manila.

Qualifications

• Bookkeeping experience for Australian businesses, ideally across multiple entities.
• Strong hands-on Xero skills including AP, AR and bank reconciliations; Xero certifications advantageous.
• Payroll experience in Australia.
• Working understanding of Australian GST.
• Proficient with Google Sheets or Excel to organise data and investigate discrepancies.
• Strong written and spoken English with ability to follow up clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail, reliable follow-through and flagging issues early.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team and manage deadlines across two businesses.
• Reliable internet connection and overlap with Australian business hours.

Responsabilités

• Accounts payable: Process supplier invoices, check coding and approvals, and prepare payment runs for authorisation.
• Accounts receivable: Raise client invoices, allocate incoming payments, follow up overdue accounts and resolve billing queries.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and payment platforms, investigating discrepancies promptly.
• Payroll support: Prepare payroll inputs, check timesheets and leave information, and assist with processing and reconciliations.
• Month-end support: Keep ledgers current, maintain supporting schedules and prepare reconciliations for the Financial Controller’s review.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate documentation across both entities, including expenses and intercompany transactions.
• Process improvements: Help simplify recurring tasks using Xero, automation and appropriate AI tools.
