SM Development Corporation seeks a Document Controller for Technical Due Diligence (TDD) to manage all TDD activities under the Engineering Design Manager. You will coordinate with SMDC departments, prepare and archive all TDD documentation, and issue COCs to third-party consultants.
The role requires a BS Engineering or related degree, 3+ years as a DC, and strong MS Office/SharePoint skills to support the TDD team’s timely deliverables.
The Document Controller (DC) for Technical Due Diligence (TDD), under the guidance and coordination of the Engineering Design Manager, is responsible for:
Managing all TDD works and TDD-related activities.
Coordinating with all SMDC inter-departments regarding TDD works.
Preparing and managing all documentation and correspondence related to TDD.
Archiving all TDD-related documents, reports, drawings, and records for SMDC projects.
Monitoring, updating, and closing all TDD works from start to completion, including issuance of Certificates of Completion (COC) to engaged third-party consultants.
Reports to: Engineering Design Manager / Assistant Design Managers (TDD Team Leader)
Supervises: None
Prepare letters and correspondence for SMDC stakeholders, inter-departments, and third-party consultants engaged for TDD works.
Fully coordinate with third-party consultants, SMDC departments, and other stakeholders involved in TDD works.
Prepare Terms of Reference (TOR) for TDD and other specialist-related works, including PowerPoint presentations.
Monitor all TDD engagements and provide updates to the stakeholders.
Report directly to the Design Managers and/or Assistant Design Managers leading the TDD team.
Graduate of a BS Engineering course (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Sanitary, ECE, Computer Engineering, etc.) or BS Computer Science, Business Management, or Business Administration from a reputable university or college.
Preferably with at least 3 years of extensive experience as a Document Controller in a consultancy, construction firm, or technical company, and a total of at least 5 years of work experience.
Board examination passer with a valid PRC license is preferred but not required.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Professional proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
