Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. is seeking experienced, strategic, and results-driven District Sales Managers to lead and strengthen its sales operations in South Mindanao – CARAGA Area and North Mindanao.
The District Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving district sales targets, expanding market coverage, developing key institutional accounts, and improving the productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales team.
This position is ideal for an experienced field sales leader with a strong background in medical devices, In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), laboratory diagnostics, hospital equipment, pharmaceuticals, or other healthcare-related products and services.
Achieve or exceed district sales targets, revenue objectives, and key performance indicators.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans, territory expansion initiatives, and account development programs.
Identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities involving hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centers, clinics, and other healthcare institutions.
Strengthen Biosite’s market presence and increase product penetration throughout the assigned territory.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new accounts and expansion opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging healthcare opportunities.
Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate Medical Sales Representatives and Sales Agents.
Establish clear targets, territory priorities, and performance expectations.
Conduct regular field visits, joint customer calls, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Develop the team’s selling skills, product knowledge, negotiation capabilities, and account-management competencies.
Ensure effective territory coverage and proper execution of sales programs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital administrators, laboratory heads, pathologists, physicians, procurement officers, and other healthcare decision-makers.
Promote Biosite’s portfolio of medical devices, diagnostic instruments, reagents, laboratory solutions, and healthcare technologies.
Lead negotiations and support the preparation of proposals for strategic and institutional accounts.
Ensure the timely resolution of customer concerns and service requirements.
Coordinate closely with Product Management, Clinical Applications, Technical Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Management.
Monitor district sales performance, team productivity, customer accounts, sales pipelines, and market developments.
Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, performance analyses, and recommended action plans.
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective or growth-focused strategies.
Ensure the effective implementation of product campaigns, product launches, and demand-generation activities.
Maintain compliance with company policies, reporting standards, and operational requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biology, Life Sciences, Respiratory Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or another relevant course.
At least three (3) to five (5) years of solid field sales experience, preferably in medical devices, IVD, laboratory diagnostics, hospital equipment, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare-related products.
Proven supervisory, people-management, or sales leadership experience, preferably managing Medical Sales Representatives, Sales Agents, or territory-based field sales teams.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, developing territories, and managing institutional or key accounts.
Strong understanding of hospital, laboratory, diagnostic center, clinic, procurement, and healthcare-institution sales.
Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Analytical and capable of interpreting sales performance and market data.
Highly organized, proactive, resilient, and results-oriented.
Willing to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Capable of working independently and managing geographically dispersed accounts and team members.
Candidates should preferably be residing within to one of the following territories:
South Mindanao – CARAGA Area: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and nearby CARAGA areas
North Mindanao: Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi
Candidates with an established professional network among hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centers, clinics, distributors, and healthcare institutions within the relevant territory will have an advantage.
