Job summary

Beginnings Communications, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dispatch Officer to manage end-to-end order fulfillment, daily dispatch schedules, and rider/fleet coordination within the E-Commerce team.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Magento or similar systems. Expect shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet service SLAs and business needs.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatch Officer to join our E-Commerce team. You will oversee end-to-end order fulfillment, daily dispatch schedules, rider and fleet coordination, and ensure strict compliance with delivery Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Fleet Management

• Plan, organize, and manage daily dispatch schedules, assigning parcels and details to riders.
• Monitor rider activities, accomplishments, and delivery timelines in accordance with company protocols.
• Develop and optimize delivery schedules, managing re-routing or rescheduling when needed.
• Maintain active communication with branch team members to ensure smooth operational execution and support sales goals.

Order Fulfillment & Systems Operations

• Oversee full order fulfillment: order entry, verification, processing, shipping, and payment posting.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the order-to-cash process, verifying customer orders and tracking account details.
• Consolidate inbound sales orders and track product availability to prevent fulfillment delays.
• Monitor inventory levels to balance stock availability with cost optimization.

Process Optimization & Issue Resolution

• Resolve operational issues and escalations quickly by coordinating across internal departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase dispatch efficiency and minimize fulfillment errors.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse operations, or fleet coordination.
• E-Commerce Background: Direct experience in E-Commerce or last-mile delivery operations is strongly preferred.
• System & Software Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Familiar with dispatch, inventory, or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Vita, or similar systems).
• Operational Readiness: Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required by business operations.
