Job summary

BlackLine is seeking a Director of Technology Partnerships to build and manage strategic relationships with AI and cloud technology providers, shaping the platform's future. You will own executive relationships, drive joint integrations, and influence product roadmaps across product, engineering, and security teams.

You will negotiate collaboration agreements, manage data-sharing and API access, and align partnerships with enterprise and compliance needs.

Qualifications

10+ years in technology partnerships, business development, or technical alliance management.
Experience negotiating and delivering complex technical integrations or joint solutions.
Experience operating inside a product and engineering organization, or with one.
Strong technical fluency to discuss APIs, architecture, and integration design.

Responsibilities

Partner Relationship Management: Own executive and working-level relationships with BlackLine’s strategic technology partners and be the primary contact for opportunities and escalations.
Integration & Co-Development: Drive joint integration efforts from scoping through GA with engineering, product, and security teams; negotiate technical collaboration agreements.
Strategic Planning: Develop a technology partnership strategy aligned to AI-native product development, platform scalability, and enterprise compliance; define success metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product management, engineering, and legal to advance partnerships through governance; translate capabilities into product briefs.
Roadmap Influence: Keep a view on partner roadmaps and represent BlackLine’s requirements in planning conversations.
Co-Marketing & Positioning: Coordinate with marketing on co-marketing and analyst-facing narratives tied to partner integrations.
