Job summary

RCBC Bankard Services Corporation seeks an experienced Operational Risk Lead to champion the risk program across the organization, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and mitigation of credit card risks.

You will coordinate Risk and Control Self-Assessments, Loss Events, KRIs and Issues/Actions, and you will design policies, control test plans, and governance processes to strengthen the risk framework across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the credit card industry.
• Significant background in risk management within the credit card domain.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BSP, BIR, Republic Acts).

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational risk function across the organization.
• Ensure timely and accurate risk reporting (RCSA, Loss Events, KRIs, Issues/Actions).
• Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures to implement the risk framework.
• Establish systems to identify, track, escalate, report, and resolve issues.

Job Purpose

• Lead the operational risk function by ensuring the timely and accurate identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation, and monitoring of risks across the organization.
• Prepare and submit accurate, complete, and timely risk reports including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Loss Events, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and Issues/Actions -utilizing the Operational Risk Management System (ORMS).
• Formulate policies, guidelines, and procedures to implement the risk framework across RCBC Bankard Services Corporation, alongside designing effective control test plans.
• Establish systems to identify, track, report, escalated and resolve issues.
• Perform risk assessment, evaluation of implications and impact, and action items.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (4-year or 5-year course), preferably in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the credit card industry
• Significant background in risk management within the credit card domain
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas / BSP, Bureau of Internal Revenue / BIR, Republic Acts)
