Job summary

RCBC Bankard Services Corporation is seeking a senior risk leader to head the operational risk function. You will ensure timely risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across the organization, and prepare critical risk reports.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years in the credit card industry with strong regulatory knowledge. You will design and implement risk policies and oversee risk controls, reporting, and escalation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the credit card industry.
• Significant background in risk management within the credit card domain.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (BSP, BIR, RA laws).

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational risk function with timely identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation, and monitoring of risks.
• Prepare risk reports including RCSA, Loss Events, KRIs, and Issues/Actions using ORMS.
• Formulate policies, guidelines, and procedures to implement the risk framework and control tests.
• Establish systems to identify, track, report, escalate, and resolve issues.
• Perform risk assessment and evaluate implications, actions, and items.

Job description

• Lead the operational risk function by ensuring the timely and accurate identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation, and monitoring of risks across the organization.
• Prepare and submit accurate, complete, and timely risk reports including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Loss Events, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and Issues/Actions -utilizing the Operational Risk Management System (ORMS).
• Formulate policies, guidelines, and procedures to implement the risk framework across RCBC Bankard Services Corporation, alongside designing effective control test plans.
• Establish systems to identify, track, report, escal and resolve issues.
• Perform risk assessment, evaluation of implications and impact, and action items.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year or 5-year course), preferably in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the credit card industry
• Significant background in risk management within the credit card domain
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas / BSP, Bureau of Internal Revenue / BIR, Republic Acts)
