Job summary

Billease Bank, Inc. in Makati is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Officer to build and maintain the bank’s enterprise risk framework, identify risks, strengthen controls, and ensure BSP regulatory compliance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to embed risk management into processes, monitor KRIs and risk events, and promote a culture of risk awareness across the organization. The role requires at least 5 years in enterprise risk within banking or financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or risk management.
• 5+ years in enterprise and/or operational risk within banking/fintech/finance.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, controls, incident management, and reporting.
• Experience with RCSA facilitation and risk assessments.
• Solid understanding of BSP operational risk regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the Enterprise Operational Risk Management Framework.
• Coordinate risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting enterprise-wide.
• Facilitate RCSA activities and monitor risk mitigation plans.
• Maintain the operational risk register and track KRIs and incidents.

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Risk Officer to join our dynamic team in Makati. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s operational risk management framework, identifying and assessing operational risks, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring compliance with BSP regulations. What You'll Do:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the Enterprise Operational Risk Management Framework and other Operational Risk-related policies.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide operational risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and monitor the implementation of risk mitigation plans.
• Maintain the operational risk register and monitor operational risk events, incidents, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, recommending improvements to strengthen the control environment.
• Prepare enterprise operational risk reports and dashboards for senior management and risk governance committees.
• Partner with business units to integrate operational risk management into business processes and strategic initiatives.
• Support the development and implementation of enterprise risk policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with BSP operational risk regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Promote enterprise-wide risk awareness and contribute to a strong risk management culture.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management and Operational Risk within banking, fintech, lending, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise operational risk frameworks, internal controls, risk assessments, incident management, and risk reporting.
• Hands-on experience facilitating Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), operational risk reviews, and control assessments.
• Strong knowledge of BSP operational risk regulations is required.
• Experience monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), operational risk events, and enterprise risk reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
