Job summary

RCBC in Manila seeks an experienced Operational Risk Manager to lead the implementation of the ORM framework across the bank and subsidiaries.

You will develop and monitor ORM tools such as RCSA, KRIs, and CST, review risks, conduct root cause analyses, and prepare risk reports for senior management. The ideal candidate has more than five years in banking operations or risk/audit, with knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a 4-year course; business or finance preferred.
• At least 5 years exposure to Banking Operations, Operational Risk or Audit.
• Working knowledge of risk assessment techniques and their banking application.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor tools for material operational risks (RCSA, KRIs, CST) for reporting to ROC.
• Contribute to ORMF policy development and ORM tool implementation.
• Review identified risks and controls across business lines and processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for high risk areas and recommend control actions.
• Prepare meaningful risk reports showing status of ORM tool implementation by units.
• Advise on loss reporting and monitoring operational risk exposures.
