Job summary

Our|Home in Manila is seeking a Driver to transport merchandise to customers and branches. You will ensure safe driving practices and load, unload, and deliver goods in a timely and courteous manner.

Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, submitting reports, and coordinating with customers and the Dispatching Supervisor to complete deliveries and payments. Our|Home is a leading lifestyle furniture retailer with a strong store network.

Qualifications

• At least high school graduate.
• 1–3 years driving experience delivering items/goods.
• Professional driver's license 1,2 required.

Responsibilities

• Driving: Safely transport merchandise to customer locations and branches in a timely, courteous manner.
• Vehicle maintenance: Ensure assigned vehicle is properly maintained and report conditions.
• Daily operations: Load/unload merchandise, obtain customer acknowledgment on delivery, record payments and forward documents to Dispatching Supervisor.

Responsible for overall transport of merchandise to customers and branches.

Key Accountabilities

1.Driving

• Safely transport merchandise to customer locations in a timely and courteous manner.
• Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving rules and internally agreed standards.

2.Vehicle Maintenance

• Ensure that assigned vehicle is properly maintained.
• Prepare and submit vehicle monitoring report, including records of vehicle operations, maintenance, and gasoline consumption.

3.Daily Operations

• Ensure that all merchandise/items for delivery are properly loaded/ unloaded.
• Require customers to properly acknowledge delivery of merchandise as per delivery documents
• Acknowledge receipt of payment from customers by placing amount received and signature on delivery documents.
• Endorse all documents/payments received to the Dispatching Supervisor.
