Job Description

Responsible for developing and executing merchandise strategies in achieving business unit goals and objectives

Key Accountabilities

1. Merchandise Planning

• Market Research and Identify Trends to stay up to date with Industry and Consumer Demands
• Drive the Category to full potential
• Review performance indicators (e.g. inventory, sales, and discount levels)
• Write reports and forecast sales levels on a weekly and monthly basis, as needed

2. Assortment and Inventory Management

• Ensure Correct Assortment
• Timely Entry, Adjustment, Tracking, and Ensure Sufficient Inventory
• Ensure Health of Inventory
• Prepare and Execute Inventory Programs (Promos, Markdowns, Mark-up, etc)
• Supports Online, E-comm and any Future Expansions

3. Vendor Management

• Meet suppliers and negotiate terms of contract
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products
• Collaborate with Vendors for Business Development

4. Team and People Management

• Able to work, communicate and execute plan to action
• Always on Board
• Team Player and can deal with all levels of management
