Job summary

Our|Home is a leading lifestyle furniture retailer in the Philippines with 33 stores nationwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented cashier to ensure accurate daily financial transactions and uphold cash handling policies.

You will manage POS transactions, issue receipts, and support store operations with precision. The successful candidate has at least a four-year degree or college-level experience, strong math skills, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years graduate of any course (If without experience)
• College-level applicants must have cashiering or customer service experience
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Follow and abide by established registers and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Encode customer purchases in POS machine.
• Ensure availability of cashiering forms/documents and supplies (POs, invoices, journals, receipts).
• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Acknowledge customers and listen to their needs; address complaints promptly.

Job Description

Responsible for maintaining an accurate and authentic record of all transactions involving customers' payments whether cash or charge in consonance with set cashiering systems and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

Daily Operations

• Consistently follow and abide by the company’s established registers and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Manage all cash / charge transaction and encode customer purchases in POS machine.
• Ensure availability of cashiering forms/documents and supplies such as POs, charge invoices, sales drafts, journals, receipt rolls, etc.

Customer Engagement

• Ensure high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service.
• Acknowledge the presence of customers, listen and pay attention to their needs.
• Attend to customer complaints with eagerness and understanding.
