Job summary

The University seeks an experienced leader to head non-traditional learning initiatives, including ODeL, ETEEAP, and micro-credentials. You will drive strategy, partnerships, and program development to meet industry and labor market needs.

You will oversee quality assurance, faculty development, student support, and digital transformation across online learning platforms, ensuring compliance and excellence in outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Technology, Higher Education Administration, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferred: Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DBA, or equivalent) in Education, Educational Leadership, Higher Education Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or management position.
• Demonstrated experience in distance education, online learning management, academic program development, curriculum design, educational technology, and continuing education or lifelong learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the University's strategy for non-traditional learning.
• Lead the expansion of ODeL, ETEEAP, micro-credentials, certificate programs, and other flexible learning initiatives.
• Identify emerging educational trends and technologies that support lifelong learning.
• Develop innovative academic pathways responsive to industry and labor market needs.
• Establish partnerships with industry, government agencies, professional organizations, and international institutions.
• Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of all ODeL programs; ensure CHED compliance.
• Supervise instructional design, online course development, and digital learning delivery.
• Ensure course content meets academic quality standards and learning outcomes.
• Promote best practices in online teaching and learner engagement; monitor retention and satisfaction.
• Oversee LMS and digital learning platforms; manage academic quality assurance processes.
• Lead ETEEAP implementation, compliance with CHED guidelines, and prior learning assessments.
• Develop micro-credential and lifelong learning programs with industry collaboration.
• Ensure frameworks for credential verification and laddering into degree programs.
• Coordinate accreditation and quality assurance activities; lead program reviews.
