Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT or CS required.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience in academia.
• IT certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, Cybersecurity or equivalent credentials.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of CS/IT curriculum standards and emerging technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative management capability.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the CS/IT department's academic and administrative operations.
• Provide strategic leadership in curriculum development, program enhancement, and accreditation compliance.
• Supervise and evaluate faculty and academic staff.
• Manage day-to-day academic concerns and departmental operations.
• Respond to and resolve concerns raised by students and faculty in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and recommend policies, improvements, and strategic initiatives for the department.
• Ensure programs align with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards.
• Support research, innovation, and professional development initiatives.
